As a bona fide Hollywood starlet herself, Gwyneth Paltrow knows how to pull off pretty much anything necessary for the camera.

In Max Factor’s 100 Years of Glamour campaign, the “Shakespeare in Love” lady mimics the looks of several starlets from years past.

Fabulous females like Farrah Fawcett, Madonna, Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn all helped to inspire the many different aesthetics achieved in the shoot.

A rep from Max Factor announced, “Mr. Max Factor was the original architect of personal glamour and the man responsible for some of the most transcending beauty looks of all time. With such a rich heritage in Hollywood Glamour, Max Factor has gone back to its roots to celebrate the iconic work of Mr. Max Factor.”

Meanwhile, makeup artist Caroline Barnes noted, “We have has taken our creative inspiration, Gwyneth Paltrow, and used make-up to transform her into glamorous heroines from varying decades. For me, Farrah Fawcett from the seventies appeals to me most. It was a decade of change in make-up; the birth of the beautiful sun-kissed tanned skin. I adore the soft colorful metallic hues that were used in abundance on lips, eyes and cheeks.”

“Foundation was light and it really felt that radiance and energy was pumped into hair and make-up, giving the 70’s that feel of a new relaxed femininity and experimentation.”
