Banana Republic Grabs Marissa Webb for Creative Director

Gap Inc. announced that Banana Republic has named Marissa Webb creative director and executive vice president of design.
Effective April 28, Webb will be responsible for the brand's creative direction, as well as leading product design for men’s, women’s and accessories departments.
The popular retailer has also announced that it intends to invest in M Webb collection that recently launched at Barneys New York and is exclusively available in 30 stores worldwide.
Webb will be reporting to President of Banana Republic, Jack Calhoun, who is rumored to take on the role of her strategic partner to help develop more business.
