As the seasons change from winter to spring, Alessandra Carra is also making a transition out of her role as CEO at Emilio Pucci.
Having signed on for the gig back in March 2011, Carra will leave at the end of the month and Vice President Laudomia Pucci will serve as interim CEO until a replacement has been selected.
Alessandra’s departure leaves a gaping void at a time when Pucci is hoping to expand horizons by opening more boutiques and ramping up e-commerce in addition to growing handbag and footwear departments.
However, contrary to rumors to the contrary, artistic director Peter Dundas won’t be following Carra’s lead out the door. LVMH CEO Pierre-Yves Roussel assured investors, “He has a contract and he’s not leaving Pucci.”
