Kate Spade Enlists Roy Chan For International Domination

They make fabulous clothing and accessories and now the team over at Kate Spade is taking global expansion to the next level.

Per a Fashionista report, the quirky NYC label recently recruited Roy Chan to serve as the first senior vice president of international development, with the goal of spreading the Kate Spade New York, Kate Spade Saturday and Jack Spade love to the four corners of the earth.

And already, CEO Craig Leavitt has announced plans to open a Kate Spade retail outlet in the land down under.

He explained, "We continue to focus on international expansion and look forward to bringing Kate Spade New York to Australia. We have identified the right partners in Valiram Group and look forward to our first shop opening in Melbourne."

CCO Deborah Lloyd added, “Australia is one of my favorite places to visit and serves as a great inspiration to me. I am proud that we are opening a shop at the Emporium Shopping Center where we will offer the full lifestyle of the brand showcasing the best of Kate Spade New York's colorful world.”
