Louis Vuitton: Taking Its Show on the Road

He had huge shoes to fill as Marc Jacobs’ replacement at Louis Vuitton, and Nicolas Ghesquiere keeps making all the right moves.
According to Financial Times’ Vanessa Friedman, the well-respected creative director will personally design Vuitton’s Resort 2015 collection and he’ll hold the first destination show in April.
This latest move is more evidence that Louis Vuitton is really looking to take their ready-to-wear offerings to the next level, given that in the past the label has relied on lower-ranked employees for transitional lineups.
