He had a 13-year relationship with the late model/designer L’Wren Scott, and Mick Jagger is taking the news of her death understandably hard.
According to a source close to the singer, he’s “terribly devastated” and “inconsolable” after hearing that his longtime love hung herself in her Manhattan apartment.
Jagger’s rep told press, "The story in the New York Post re a split between Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott is 100 percent untrue. There is absolutely no basis in fact to this story. It is a horrible and inaccurate piece of gossip during this very tragic time for Mick."
As for the Rolling Stones’ Australian tour, so far the “Start Me Up” rockers have cancelled their gig in Perth on Wednesday (March 19) and they’re expected to bow out of all six of their dates.
However, Mick and the boys still haven’t flown their private plane back to New York City, as everything has happened so fast and they’re still trying to sort things out.
Furthermore, Mick’s daughter Georgia May Jagger has pulled out of her modeling job in Melbourne- a spokesperson announced, "In light of the recent sad news, Georgia May Jagger will not be participating in Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival for the Camilla Grand Showcase. We ask that you respect Ms Jagger and her family’s privacy at this very difficult time. We offer our sincere condolences to Ms Jagger and her family.”
