Making a return to the fundamental aesthetics of his 1999 eyewear collection, Roberto Cavalli has announced a new line of sunglasses for the Spring 2012 season.
According to Marcolin style and licensing officer Maurizio Marcolin, the new specs will merge the past with the present in a way only Cavalli could pull off.
He explained, “All the aesthetic codes of the brand — such as the animal prints, the snake inspiration and goldsmith’s art — are now a leitmotif across all styles.”
“The collection has been very well received in the market for the new and original contemporary shapes complementing the sophisticated appeal of the Roberto Cavalli brand.”
The new range of eyewear is already available at Cavalli and Just Cavalli boutiques and will hit Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom in February 2012 with prices from $360 to $450.
