Giving the folks in Milan a thrill, Alberta Ferretti debuted her Pre-Fall and Demi-Couture 2012 goodies as part of Fashion Week.

The iconic designer drew inspiration from Wallis Simpson’s aristocratic elegance, including Art Deco-flavored flair.

Ferretti’s new offerings include cashmere capes and coats along with luxurious fur pieces embellished with chiffon intarsia.

Additionally, the 1920s motif is carried out nicely in her flowing chiffon dresses with lace inserts and period-specific embroideries.

As for the models she chose to show off her creations, Ferretti noted, “They are all different, but they all have style and strong, daring personalities.”
