Elie Tahari Invades NYFW 2012

Bringing a classy party vibe to the table, Elie Tahari’s New York Fashion Week showing had as much positive energy as must-have designs.

The well-known designer, who had to take the reigns when creative director Kobi Halperin left the company in 2011, seemed happier than ever to be showing off his new collection.

Tahari told press, “It’s about love, it’s from the heart,” before models baring purples, turquoise, and blues and greens came filing out of the backstage area to a warm reception from the audience.

And Elie wasn’t afraid to pair up different patterns that wouldn’t normally be seen together. Thankfully, it worked out pretty well, giving the label another strong showing.
