Moving on from one collection-unveiling event to another, Jason Wu debuted his highly anticipated Fall 2012 RTW collection this afternoon (February 10) during New York Fashion Week and it's rumored to be his best collection yet.

Wu’s show was the hot ticket event of the day as designers, celebrities and fashion-gurus alike had been eagerly waiting to see what unique fashions the young Taiwanese designer would turn out for the impending season.

Wu hadn’t visited his home country until about 18-months ago but upon his recent return, he felt a sense of renewal. "I almost went back as a foreigner with fresh eyes,” said Wu. Let us say, those fresh eyes certainly helped Wu gain tremendous inspiration for his Fall 2012 collection.

The fashions debuted at his show exhibited strong Chinese-influence. According to Wu, the common theme throughout the collection is strength. “I had to inject myself and my generation, so I did that with sportswear,” he said. Military jackets, puffy coats, sleek capes and domineering shoulder structures were the staples of this incredibly stunning creation.

Wu’s show extended its offerings to not only the spectators in attendance, but also to those around the world! Retail super giant, Nordstrom, streamed it’s first ever New York Fashion Week show in real time, giving thousands of Wu fans across the globe a front row seat to all the action. Furthermore, Wu has truly proven himself has a force to be reckoned with in the fashion world and his latest creations are proof of that fact.
