L.A.M.B. Lights Up Fall '12 RTW at NYFW

A woman of many talents, Gwen Stefani displayed her fashion design prowess as her mega-popular clothing label, L.A.M.B. (Love Angel Music Baby) debuted its funky-fresh fall 2012 RTW collection at The Box at Lincoln Center for New York Fashion Week on Saturday (February 11).

The playful fall collection comprised of numerous ensembles and accessories that were clearly inspired by Stefani’s personal style and aesthetic – all looks exuding extreme versatility and wearability.

Gwen commented on her design process saying, “My favorite thing is mixing old with new and feminine with masculine. I like the contrast and the clash and the resulting balance you get from mixing soft and hard elements. I go back to that inspiration over and over again.”

L.A.M.B.’s fall line was truly a genius alliance of soft and edgy pieces as well as brilliant pops of color here and there. A striking neon yellow was a common hue seen throughout her collection as was a striking mixture of prints and textures. This electric collection is surely one of the greatest to come from Stefani, who has perfected the skill of designing for the everyday fashionista.
