Max Mara Unveils Military-Inspired A/W Offering at MFW

Always a favorite among the stylish set, design house Max Mara debuted its chic Autumn/Winter ’12 collection a part of Milan Fashion Week earlier today (February 23)/

The military-inspired line (a common theme we are seeing throughout all fashion weeks) was derived from a neutral color palette with rich hues of beige, brown and army green seen throughout.

Genius pops of texture were also prominent in the label’s fall offering. Models walked the runway in perfectly structured leather and reptile skin pieces such as pencil skits and trench coats. The featured handbags were also perfectly handcrafted, lending unmatched sophistication to every creation.

Not to be outdone, the striped articles of clothing made a fierce impact on the catwalk as well. One of our favorite looks was a floor-length, long sleeve striped crewneck silk dress. Belted, this ensemble would be a perfect and totally wearable look for fall.
