NYFW: Tory Burch Goes School-Girl Chic for Fall 2014

The collection opened up with models donning knee-high socks, playful collars, and pleated skirts, giving off a school-girl like feel, where as fabrics boasted shiny metallics, feminine florals and even horse patterns on blazers, bottoms and tops. Everything proved to be as wearable and functional as it was stylish and chic.

Making sure no one would mistake the brand, a navy sweater with jewel embellishments in the form of her iconic logo also marched down the catwalk.

Of course, the show wouldn't be complete without the label’s accessories. Full-furred belts, purses and muffs (which we could use right now to keep warm) added an extra oomph to every ensemble, while gold chains hung from waists. Statement necklaces also made an appearance, gracing the tops of flirty frocks and shirts.

Instead of placing wigs on models, hairstylists tucked hair into the clothing, creating an illusion of a bob. Using her own cosmetic line, makeup was kept fresh and natural, complementing the innocent-like range.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, a bohemian long-sleeved jumpsuit with red flowers stole the attention of the entire audience, including A-listers Anna Wintour and Anna Kendrick.

While she’s never one to disappoint, Tory Burch’s collection definitely gets an A plus in our books.
