Tory Burch: Celebrates the Sultry Female at NYFW
Sure to be one of her most talked about collections to date, Tory Burch showcased her Fall 2012 creations at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center as part of New York Fashion Week on Tuesday (February 14).
Making quite the statement right off the bat, Burch's models caressed the catwalk at Alice Tully Hall in sexy hand-painted leather separates, waist-hugging knit cardigans and tighter-than-tight sweaters.
Of her ladylike yet sultry offering, Tory told press, it was "inspired by the idea of a prim girl who's under the spell of the wrong kind of guy. She's an innocent, unaware of her own sex appeal."
"This is about understated sexy. The picture I had was a young woman, maybe unaware of her own sex appeal, and she gets on the back of a motorcycle with someone who her parents wouldn't want her to be with," Burch added.
