Monique Lhullier & Manolo Blahnik Footwear Collab: Coming Soon?
Rumors in the fashion industry are a dime a dozen, but Monique Lhuillier has created plenty of buzz with a recent Facebook post.
The luxury label featured a pair of Manolo heels on their profile, along with the caption, “Have you seen our new Monique Lhuillier for Manolo Blahnik shoes?”
Given the failed collaboration between Blahnik and J. Crew, nobody should jump to conclusions, especially since the team-up could be making samples or runway footwear.
Earlier this year, Blahnik told press, "I have been approached so many times to do [a collaboration], but I don't want to work for a big company where I'll have to have lots of meetings where I'm told what I can and can't do."
