Looking to round out their geography, the folks over at United Scents of America have announced two additional fragrances — Massachusetts and Hawaii.
The forthcoming products will join New York, New Jersey, Texas, Florida, and California, with more to come in subsequent releases.
Founders Samantha Sherwin and Sasha Bertran have only been selling their scents since March 2012 and they see big things on the horizon for 2013 and beyond.
Sherwin explained, There has been no better feeling than experiencing our vision come to life and see our brand develop.”
And when it comes to concocting their creations, the ladies make use of focus groups from the various locales. “It’s not for us to determine what someone’s home state should smell like; we depend on [target consumers] for their feedback and insights to develop our fragrances and get them just right.”
Bertran added, “There’s no better sense of accomplishment than when somebody tells us that we did their state proud and it brought them back to that place. Scent is so connected to personal emotions and we’re glad we are able to give that to the public.”
