Forever 21: Facing Legal Action for Navajo Panty?

One of the pattern trends this season is inspired by Native American prints, but that could spell trouble for Forever 21.

The discount fashion brand has come out with a Navajo & Lace Hipster panty, but they’ll likely face legal action from the Navajo Nation.

According to the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990, it’s illegal to call something Navajo that doesn’t originate from the tribe.

Earlier this year, Urban Outfitters was slammed for their version of the Navajo Panty and ended up omitting the word “Navajo” from the descriptions.
