Fashion and technology have teamed up again and this time the big players are none other than Opening Ceremony and microchip manufacturer Intel.

According to WWD, there’s a new smart bracelet on the way, and the MICA (My Intelligent Communication Accessory” moniker sounds quite exciting.

Intel vice president Aysegul Ildeniz explained, “We’re not going too much into detail before the product is actually on the market. But what I can say is we’re calling it a communications accessory. It’s intended to enable you to be connected at all times, through social feeds.”

That being said, Opening Ceremony’s Humberto Leon shared that MICA will cost less than $1,000 and does not need to be connected to a phone. MICA will be sold at Barneys New York and Opening Ceremony beginning this holiday season!
