Look to the Stars: Take Your Color Cues from the Golden Globe Red Carpet!
If you tuned in to the Golden Globe awards, which took place this past Sunday, January 15, you would know it was not only an award show, but also a stylin’ soiree of the latest and greatest fashions!
All of our favorite A-listers strutted the red carpet in the most stunning fashions to date, donning designers such as Reem Acra, Dior and Zac Posen. We mentioned in our Best & Worst Dressed at the Golden Globe Awards article, that this show in particular, is the one that launches the greatest trends of the year – color trends especially.
Blush-like, nude tones were huge on the red carpet! Celebrities like Charlize Theron, Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale all rocked this flirty, romantic color. Another common fashion theme we saw was bold colors. Navy blue, yellow and red hues made their appearance on the red carpet worn by stars such as Sofia Vergara, Maria Menounous and Reese Witherspoon.
Whether you prefer more dreamy, neutral colors such as nudes and pale pinks or if bold colors such as blue, yellow and red tickle your fashion fancy more, you’ll be happy to know that all of these colors are now deemed the ‘It” colors for the season.
