Shopping Instagram Style Just Got Easier

Further serving to monetize the social media realm, RewardStyle has come up with a creative new way to connect Instagram users with the vendors they love.
My Style Pill blogger Christine Cameron told Fashionista that the formerly-complicated process of pointing readers to retail outlets via her Instagram posts is a cinch thanks to a new service called LiketoKnow:It.
Working around Instagram’s prohibition of embedded affiliate links, LiketoKnow:It automatically sends an email to browsers who “heart” a specific post, thereby providing a direct line to purchase the desired apparel.
Cameron noted, "It seemed like the organic step. It's been great. Super easy to use. And I enjoy getting the [LiketoKnow:It] emails from Instagrams I've liked so I can shop other people's posts."
However, some bloggers are still critical. An anonymous source shared, "I liked it as a concept, especially in terms of delivering info to readers who constantly ask questions in spite of tags, credits, etc. But the reality is, people are still asking those questions and not using the app."
Still, the army of online writers is such a plus for publicity that RewardStyle’s Kaetlin Andrews is determined to continually improve the process. "We're always trying to figure out how we can make things easier for bloggers.”
