Different styles of headwear are steadily becoming the go-to accessory of choice for savvy stylistas everywhere.
This uber-trendy accessory was first debuted on the 2012 Spring/Summer runway shows for designers such as Nichols K and Marc Jacobs.
As we all know, fashion trends have a tendency of repeating themselves, with variations of certain trends, of course. Headscarves and wraps were huge trends all the way back in the 30’s and clear through the 70’s. Now, this sassy vintage-y trend has thrust itself back on to the fashion scene and has gotten a very warm welcoming from those who love donning fashions from the past and also those who thrive on experimenting with style.
Headscarves can be worn a variety of different ways. You can do the top bow tie with your scarf, a turban-esque tie, or you can simply cover your entire scalp and tie the scarf off at the nape of your neck for a 70’s-inspired hippie-chic look. Either way, you’ll be looking all wrapped up in one of the hottest trends of the season!
Take a peek at some of these looks donned by the runway models at the Nichols K and Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2012 runway shows to see how these lovely ladies rocked the headscarf trend.
