Anne Hathaway Talks Dramatic Weight Loss & Designing with Valentino

From the looks of her Vogue magazine photo spread, Anne Hathaway is still on cloud nine after being married to Adam Shulman ... or perhaps she's just happy she can eat fatty foods again.
The 30-year-old actress dropped 25 pounds for her role as Fantine in "Les Misérables," and dished the details of her dramatic weight loss to the publication's December 2012 issue. Hathaway also reflected on what it was like to design her dream wedding gown with Valentino (lucky gal!) and how she's liking the pixie cut lifestyle.
On losing 25 pounds for "Les Misérables:"
"I had to be obsessive about it--the idea was to look near death. Looking back on the whole experience--and I don't judge it in any way---it was definitely a little nuts. It was definitely a break with reality, but I think that’s who Fantine is anyway."
On her dramatic pixie haircut:
"I love the short-haired lifestyle. It's awesome that I was able to go for a hike right before I came here to meet you, quickly wash my hair, and now it's dry."
On designing her wedding dress with pal Valentino:
"I begged him during the first fitting to make the train detachable. He looked at me and said, 'But it is a dress, not a costume.' The memory of creating it with him is something that I will treasure forever. He somehow read my mind and designed the dress that I'd always wanted."
