With a long list of popular films and plenty of experience with fashion design and ad campaigns, Kate Hudson has the career of which most ladies dream.
The “Wish I Was Here” actress is flawless on the cover of InStyle magazine’s July 2014 issue, sporting a flirty summer swim getup.
And in her interview, Hudson speaks out out on the media’s tendency to speak ill of famous folks. Kate laments, “The negativity is just so vast. Will everybody stop being so damned judgmental?”
Regarding the popular question of whether someone has had plastic surgery, Hudson declared, “That’s like asking someone if they see a therapist—and why? If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants. The real question is, How do they treat the person next to them? Are they a-holes or are they awesome?”
And Kate offered some advice for her fellow stars when it comes to dealing with shutterbugs- “I just look at the paparazzi and mentally cut their heads off!”
Still, Ms. Hudson is extremely bothered by the gender inequality she sees in her line of work. “Do women still have a more difficult time in the industry? In terms of what they get paid and getting movies made, that’s just a factual yes. Nobody can debate it.”
However at the end of the day, there’s nothing she’d rather be doing. “I joined the circus because I wanted to be part of the circus. I have rebelliousness in me. I’m not interested in perfection — that’s the whole point!”
