She always seems to rock the perfect ensemble, and Rachel Bilson is dishing to Health magazine’s June 2014 about feeling comfortable in your fashionable attire.
After striking a few poses for the summery spread, the “O.C.” cutie opened up about how she stays confident and picking out the perfect accessories.
On loving her body in her 30s:
“It's really awesome. You're so much more comfortable and don't give a crap about the stupid things that you cared about when you were in your 20s. I would never want to do my 20s again. I hate that our society is so focused on that body-image stuff. Girls growing up now are aware of their bodies instead of what's important. Live your life and be a kid and don't think, I wish I was skinnier. I wish my butt wasn't so fat.”
On her personal style:
“Yeah, I'm pretty modest. It's just what I'm drawn to. It's OK to be sexy every once in a while, but you don't have to show everything to be sexy.”
On the latest trends:
“Sexy cuts of dresses, like a halter style. You're not showing cleavage, but it's still a really sexy dress. I bought this pantsuit, like a onesie, that's black, and the back is open. It's all about subtleties. Keep 'em guessing!”
What’s in her closet:
“Good Lord. I have a collection of nightgowns. I'm really into the granny nightgown, I'm just gonna say. Like, full-on long-sleeve, long nightgowns. They're super comfortable!”
On addition accessories to rev up an outfit:
“Once you have your favorite basics— your favorite pair of jeans, your favorite T-shirt, that black blazer—all you have to do is spice it up with a super cool pair of shoes or a scarf.”
