It’s no secret that ads are chock full of edits and retouches, but Aerie is looking to buck the trend for the betterment of humankind.
The American Eagle-owned lingerie brand has pledged to outlaw airbrushing and only use real women with real bodies
Aerie style and fit expert Jenny Altman told “Good Morning America,” “We left everything. We left beauty marks, we left tattoos, what you see is really what you get with our campaign.”
“It’s a selling point because our customers represent this great demographic and they don’t really get to see what girls their age really look like.”
