It's Here: Hedi Slimane's First Promo Shot for YSL
Going for a rocker vibe, Hedi Slimane has just dropped his first ad image for Yves Saint Laurent and it’s nothing short of impressive.
Utilizing musician Christopher Owens, Slimane created the double-page spread that’s scheduled to appear in Vogue Hommes Japan’s latest issue.
An YSL insider described the new ad campaign as “institutional” with the intention creating an overall aesthetic in the absence of any actual apparel.
However, in the future Slimane’s promotional projects will feature YSL goodies; he'll also show his first runway lineup next month.
