NFL Leaning on Fashion Favorites to Up Apparel Style

They're two things we often don't find going hand-in-hand, but soon that will change with the upcoming collaboration between Marchesa's Georgina Chapman and the NFL.
According to WWD, Chapman will create a limited edition t-shirt to ramp up female excitement for the league's 2012-2013 season kickoff.
Additionally, the NFL will continue its lady-centered push with a slew of female celebrity faces for a forthcoming campaign dubbed "It's My Team."
Of those choosing to participate in the football promos are Peta Murgatroyd, Melania Trump an even Condoleeza Rice.
While discussing the new spin on the sports gear, Rhlannon Madden, the NFL's director of apparel, told press, “We want to show that you can be a fan by what you wear to work, going to the gym or out at night with girlfriends. It’s also a message of empowerment. It’s your team–not your guy’s team.”
