Report: Kate Spade New York Planning Launch of Lower Price Line
Looking to make her styles available to the more budget-conscious crowd, Kate Spade has announced a new line called Kate Spade Saturday.
Per an industry source, the new lower-priced collection has been in the works since the beginning of the year and will hit international outlets initially.
The insider added, “They’re rolling out stores outside of the States first and focusing on an online presence.”
While no one at Kate Spade New York has commented on the Saturday lineup, it is said to be designed to compete with Chris Burch’s C. Wonder goods, and will likely resemble the Madewell offerings.
