Forget "50 Shades of Grey," tonight's (September 22) Emmy red carpet was all about variations of blue — and there was nothing sad about it.
From light, sky-inspired hues, to vibrant, cobalt tones, this is one color stars turned up in, again and again.
Missed the aqua-filled fashion? Don't fret, we gathered five indigo ensembles worth obsessing over, below.
Maria Menounos: Talk about hostess with the mostess! The "Extra" reporter turned heads in a sexy, strapless midnight blue Zac Posen creation. Complete with a green jewel necklace, Maria set off her overall look with a simple fishtail braid, smoky eye and nude lip. Can you say perfection?
Tina Fey: This woman has it all figured out — did you see her flawless silhouette? The comedian went couture for the evening's event, wearing a halter-style Narciso Rodriguez frock that hugged her body in all the right places.
Allison Williams: She recently described her Emmy dress as "classic and beautiful" when talking with E!, and we have to agree that it's a pretty accurate description. The "Girls" star opted for a sleeveless blue Ralph Lauren sheath with a voluminous A-line skirt. To finish off her chic ensemble, Allison kept her hair simple, sporting long flowing waves, as well as timeless gold bracelets.
Rocsi Diaz: We haven't quite picked our jaws up off the floor just yet, Rocsi's look is just that good. Her custom Michael Costello gown featured pointed details and a flawless mermaid fit. Polished off with gold Loren Ridinger jewels, Diaz look was nothing short of award-worthy to us.
Giuliana Rancic: As if one dress isn't enough, G doubled up with two lust-worthy looks for the red carpet. While manning the mic, Rancic jumped on the blue trend, sporting a strapless mermaid-style dress with delicate embellishments and a pair of killer Louboutins. The best part of her look? A sparkling, $1 million ring by Forevermark.
