Carrefour Readying Massive New Beauty Range

Always looking for ways to expand, Carrefour has announced a brand new lineup of beauty products under the name Les Cosmetiques Design Paris.

And the 650-unit range puts the largest retailer in Europe heads and shoulders above the rest of the marketplace.

Brand manager Melanie Jaffredo explained, “Our long-term ambition is to become the leading mass market cosmetics brand in France.”

Additionally, they won’t be cutting any corners to get there, either. “We are making no concessions, either on quality or on price,” shared Marie-Caroline Renault, Carrefour’s international beauty director.

“The low prices are thanks to a low-cost marketing strategy, with no spokesmodel, meaning we were able to put all our investment in the formulas.”
