DIY Green Tea Sugar Scrub

Green tea is not only a fabulous drink, but also a miracle worker for your skin and health!

It contains powerful anti-oxidants that rejuvenate skin cells, fight inflammation, reduce redness and green tea also contains natural anti-bacterial properties.

Whether your skin is looking a little lackluster lately due to lack of sleep, the blistering cold, or stress, this wonderful green tea sugar scrub will work wonders on your face and body – leaving it looking silky smooth and glowing radiantly! Sugar is a terrific exfoliator and olive oil, another ingredient in the scrub, is a magnificent moisturizer.

You probably have all of the ingredients you need to make this scrub in your pantry already – making for one easy DIY project! So mix this concoction up and get ready to sport radiant, glowing skin – just in time for the holidays!

What you’ll need:
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Green Tea (tea bags or loose tea)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- Hot water
- A glass container with lid

How to:
- Brew the green tea in ¼ cup of boiling water. Let cool.
- With a spoon, smoosh the tea bag around in the boiling water to get the most out of it. Remove the bag.
- Add 3 Tbsps. of sugar into the glass container.
- Add 1 Tbsp. green tea into the glass container and stir.
- Add 1 Tbsp. olive oil to the green tea/sugar mixture.
- Apply generously to your face and body. Scrub for one minute.
- Rinse and pat dry. Apply moisturizer when done.

*Leftover scrub can be refrigerated for up to one week.
