They usually post huge numbers with every designer collaboration, but H&M is rumored to be less-than-pleased with how things have gone with Maison Martin Margiela’s goodies.
According to sources, an unusually large portion of the collection is still hanging on store racks rather than getting snatched up as everyone predicted it would.
However, H&M is keeping tight-lipped on the whole ordeal—a rep stated, “H&M never comments on the selling of specific collections or items.”
"[Our] philosophy is to provide fashion for everyone at affordable prices. For Margiela, H&M offered this collection in larger volume," added the spokesperson.
Apparently the demand didn’t quite justify the newly-increased supply.
