He loves to reinvent his brand with every new season, and Riccardo Tisci had quite a presentation for the Givenchy Fall 2014 runway show.
During a backstage interview after the event, Tisci told WWD that he sought to downplay tradition while still making his new range ‘womanly.’
He noted, “The collection is about celebrating femininity and the rock woman. I’ve been doing the kind of young and more street look for so long, and I wanted to experiment with this woman who is feeling more like a woman.”
To that end, Riccardo presented button-up silk blouses with soft-pleated skirts, butterfly accents and high-waisted trousers with double-breasted jackets.
