The one thing Karl Lagerfeld has never been accused of is being boring, and the German designer pulled out all the stops for his Chanel Spring 2015 runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (September 30).
With legendary poser Gisele Bundchen on board, the French label made an indelible mark on the PFW scene, staging a mock protest in the name of girl power.
Furthermore, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Joan Smalls all made appearances in the show, sporting tweed suits and bandage dresses and carrying signs that said things like “Tweed is better than Tweet!”
Hopefully Miss Jenner is starting to be accepted by her posing peers, as a few weeks back she was treated pretty badly at New York Fashion Week.
An insider told press, “The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn't think it was fair that she was there. They started acting b*tchy. Some even put out their cigarettes in Kendall's drink!”
